Genadi Enchev is a legal professional specializing in international maritime law and quality and risk management. Genadi spent a few years in Bulgaria to gather experience after having successfully completed his education - including LL.M. in International Maritime Law and LL.M. in Law and Economics - before he moved to Belgium.
Apart from Belgium, over the past 18 years Genadi has lived and studied in Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and the United States of America.
Genadi has previously worked as assistant project manager at Mercedes-Benz USA and Merrill Corporation, as well as an intern at Executive Agency "Maritime Administration", a legal entity on budget support to the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications. Between 2012 and 2018 he was a trainee/junior lawyer at Raev & Partners Law Office in Varna, Bulgaria. At the same time he was the secretary of the Bulgarian Association of Ship Brokers and Agents and also a Member of the Board of Marine Cluster Bulgaria. In 2018 he completed a trainee position as a Quality and Risk Management Administrator at Deloitte Belgium before starting his career at the European Commission.
